We've added another speaker to the lineup for our first ASBN Live event of the year, “Business Leaders’ Guide to Promoting Civic Engagement in 2024 and Beyond” at 1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, January 17. This interactive webinar will equip business leaders to mobilize employees and other stakeholders to participate in the democratic process, foster a culture of civic responsibility, and contribute to the broader democratic discourse. Meet The Speakers:

Billy Wimsatt is the Founder and Executive Director of the Movement Voter Project ([link removed]) . He has more than 25 years of experience in journalism, philanthropy, organizing, and social entrepreneurship, and has advised hundreds of donors to strategically invest tens of millions of dollars in hundreds of organizations and initiatives in 48 states, often with crucial seed funding to start, to scale, to launch c4s and PACs, and to voterize their work. He prides himself on talent scouting, offering nurturing support and coaching, and facilitating a spirit of strategic collaboration.

John Anner, PhD is a Senior Philanthropic Advisor at the Movement Voter Project ([link removed]) . He has more than 30 years of experience leading nonprofit organizations, including Thrive Networks, the Independent Press Association, Coral Reef Alliance, and the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, and has conducted extensive research on the use of impact measurement as a critical success factor for social enterprises.
