Dear John,
The second HIAS National Refugee Shabbat is here. And even if we cannot come together in person as planned, there are many ways for all of us to take action for refugees and asylum seekers from home.
Watch our special video message to learn more.
As we hunker down in the face of the current global health pandemic, we have an opportunity to take a moment this Shabbat to consider those who are most vulnerable amongst us – including the more than 70 million displaced people around the world who have fled persecution and violence.
Check out this list of ways you can help – including a new resource for kids!
In this time when we are reminded just how interconnected and interdependent we all are, let's continue to show solidarity for refugees and asylum seekers worldwide.
Refugee Shabbat Shalom,
