Hi there,

I wanted to reach out to you personally to thank you for joining my campaign team. In crazy times like these, it’s so important to have good people like you on board.

I also wanted to tell you a bit about why I’m in this race. My father was born in Italy, and like so many, his family came in search of the American Dream. My mother was born in Queens, and her father, a member of Local 3 IBEW for almost 50 years, put the lights on the top of the Empire State Building.

I graduated from Chaminade High School, Boston College, and Fordham University School of Law. At Fordham, my volunteer work in the soup kitchen at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle helped unleash a wave of student interest in public service, which led to the Fordham Law School’s Public Service Project, which lives on to this day.

Afterward, I dedicated most of my adult life to public service. As Mayor of Glen Cove and Nassau County Executive, I cleaned up pollution, kept our streets safe, grew our economy, and was credited with remarkable turnarounds in both jobs. In 2016, I was elected to Congress as a common-sense Democrat with a record of getting things done. I led efforts to reduce taxes, protect the environment, improve infrastructure on Long Island, and more.

But, for 11 months, the seat I once held in Congress belonged to George Santos. With him expelled, we now need to take this seat back.

I’m running for Congress because serving as a public official has allowed me to do what I always dreamed of doing: help people, clean up pollution, build buildings, solve problems, and try to make people’s lives better. But now, I need your help to win NY-03.
