Legacy of Dr. King, Defund DEI,
Taiwan Elections

Honoring the Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Today, we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. and honor Dr. King’s incredible legacy of courage, determination, and hope. His work paved the way for the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which outlawed discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, and national origin.

I was moved the first time I watched his "I Have a Dream" speech on my computer, many years after immigrating to the US.  I had never heard of MLK when I was living in China, and I doubt many in China know who he is today. Let us all celebrate his legacy and continue to spread his word.

Defund DEI Which is Repackaged CRT
Today our country is being divided by Biden and his policies of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).

I gave a talk on the similarities between Mao’s Cultural Revolution & Critical Race Theory in Georgia in 2021 when CRT was being pushed on us. Shortly after my talk, I was interviewed by this radio station in Atlanta. DEI is just repackaged Critical Race Theory (CRT), which is itself just a form of Critical Theory. They both are repackaged Maoism/Marxism. It is very divisive and dangerous.  Dr. King would be turning in his grave today.

Biden and the US Congress continue to use tax payers’ money to fund DEI. A New Pentagon Strategy calls for Increased DEI funding and recruitment of ‘Non-Traditional Communities.’

When I am elected to the US House, I will sponsor a bill to defund DEI in all Federal agencies including in our military.  We should not continue DEI hiring practices which is based on race, gender and sexual orientation. We should continue moving toward a color-blind society; one based on the content of the character of an individual, i.e. merit. That is the best way for us to honor Dr. King.

Taiwan Elections
Congratulations to Lai Ching-te from the pro-sovereignty Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) for winning Taiwan’s presidential election.

There was a 71% turnout of over 23 million people. It was a successful, free, and fair election even though Taiwan voters faced near-constant threats and interference from the CCP regime in Beijing. Taiwan is the Shining City on the hill for Mainland Chinese who can only dream about democracy while living under CCP dictatorship.

It is not that hard to figure out why Taiwanese voted to keep their way of life of freedom, democracy and rule of law going. They know once they allow "One Country, Two Systems", their fate will be like people of Hong Kong. I hope someday, Chinese citizens in my native country will rise up against their totalitarian government and demand for their right to vote for their representatives.

NHGOP Annual Meeting
Team Lily had a booth at the NH GOP annual meeting in Concord. Thanks to my volunteers who helped man our booth and engage with delegates. I also spoke at the breakfast with four congressional candidates in CD1. Joe from Texas was the keynote speaker on national debt issues. It was great to see great turnout of state delegates, friends, supporters and state legislators.

My five-minute speech during breakfastreceived very positive feedback. The video will come out soon. I am still the only congressional candidate in CD2 who seems to be actively campaigning and raising money. I will not let my guard down, could you help by donating to show strength of my campaign to keep future challengers out?
