John, I wouldn’t reach out to you again if it wasn’t so important.

But I wanted to bump the message below from my Finance Director, Anna. She asked me to reach out to you once more before midnight because we’re still $6,500 short of our mid-month fundraising goal.

From TV ads to yard signs to walk cards, we’re going to have A LOT of expenses over the next 10 months. Political experts are calling this race a “toss-up,” which means we can’t afford to make a single misstep. That’s why I need your help to make sure we have the resources to run a strong campaign.

There are only a few hours left until our mid-month deadline. So, John, please use the personalized link below to chip in $10 or whatever you can before midnight:

Thank you,

Subject: projections
John — I hope your Sunday is off to a better start than mine!
I just checked ActBlue for our latest fundraising numbers, and we’re not on track to hit our mid-month goal before midnight.
Can you rush a contribution to close this funding gap ASAP???
Look, as Josh’s Finance Director, a HUGE part of my role is preparing our budgets. I base them off what we project we’ll be able to raise each month.
But if we fall short of those projections, I have to tell Josh and Jeff — our campaign manager — that they need to find places to cut back.
Meanwhile, our race is too close for comfort. Experts rate it a toss-up and pundits are calling it the most consequential gubernatorial contest this year. We absolutely do not want to curtail our voter outreach efforts.
John, we still have to raise about $10,000 before midnight tonight. I’m really counting on you to step up here! Give $10 (or pick an amount that’s right for you) before time runs out.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Appreciate it!
