A couple weeks ago we crossed our 2023 end-of-year FEC fundraising deadline. It was the big one.
And thanks to the folks on this team who chipped in last month, we were able to beat our end-of-year fundraising goal and submit a strong report to the FEC. Thank you.
Now, the reason I’m sharing this today is because I want you to know that these deadlines, and the goals we set for them, are not arbitrary.
We set these benchmarks so we know what resources we have on hand to power this movement. That helps us make important spending decisions for our campaign.
And even more than that, beating our goals and filing strong fundraising reports sends a powerful message to the establishment, the far-right, and the fossil fuel lobby that our progressive movement is fired up and ready to fight for our future.
So, with our very first fundraising deadline of 2024 coming up at the end of the month, we’re looking to this team to help us start the new year off strong.
