Our next teleconference is this Saturday, January 13 at 10 AM.
We will kick off our efforts for this year's legislative session and bill analysis work. There will be time for you to bring issues of common interest and local concerns to the meeting to discuss and get advice from other members.
Most bills now being heard are carry-over 2-year bills that didn't pass last year. These must be out of the first house by Jan 31, or they die.
We won't see the full list of 2024 bills until the end of February.
So far, we've flagged 13 bills to watch. Those are listed here.
