Yesterday Governor Hochul delivered her State of the State address and we had a lot to be excited about! 

In her remarks, she specifically identified the Stop Addictive Feeds Exploitation for Kids Act (SAFE) and the New York Child Data Protection Act as part of her legislative agenda for 2024! She signaled NYS will prioritize protecting the mental health and well-being of children on social media, calling it the “defining challenge of our time.” 

That's not all– my universal FAFSA bill was mentioned, as was my proposal to tackle toll evasion.  But we have a lot more work to do to make sure that these proposals, as well as others, get over the finish line so we can build a more affordable, livable and resilient New York. 

I’m committed to taking bold action to ensure New York is a place where all families can put down roots, grow, and thrive. Can I count on your support?

This week is the first filing deadline for my 2024 re-election campaign. I’m so close to reaching the donor threshold to qualify for the NYS Public Financing system. Can you pitch in $5, $50, or even $250 to help me qualify and start this year off strong?
