Dear Friend,
While it has been three years since Donald Trump abused his position to stoke the flames of violence at the United States Capitol, our outrage and resolve to never let it happen again has not diminished. Donald Trump acted like a dictator when he encouraged his supporters to interfere with the peaceful transfer of power.
His actions on January 6, 2021 were disgraceful and undoubtedly criminal, as our justice system will now decide. As the campaigns switch into high gear, we hope this sad day in our history will serve as a reminder of Donald Trump’s disregard for our Constitution and the rule of law. Voters know President Biden and Vice President Harris are a team that will fight for our democracy and continue to lead for the American people.
This November isn't just about re-electing Democrats who will continue moving America in the right direction -- it is about protecting and preserving the very existence of democracy and freedom in our great nation. Let's get to work.
