Hello Democrats! It's that time of year where we celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We invite you to stand in solidarity with the community at the MLK Parade under the theme "Together We Are The Dream" as we aim to embody the spirit of unity, inclusivity, and progress.

Event Details:

  • Date: January 15th, 2024
  • Parade Line-up Time: 8:00 a.m.
  • Parade Start: 10:00 a.m.
  • Vehicle Riders Line-up Location: Gifford Health Center, 4675 28th Court

What to Expect:

  • Parade Organization: Walkers will lead the way, followed by our vehicles adorned with candidates, proud Dems, signs, and banners. We need volunteers to ride in our vehicles.
  • Table for Voter Registration: At the park, we'll have a dedicated table for Voter Registration as part of our commitment to fostering democracy. We need volunteers for our tented table.

We need your help to make this event a resounding success! We're organizing into two groups, one for the parade vehicle passengers and another for the table at the park.

Please register HERE to volunteer for this collaborative effort between the Democratic of Indian River and the Democratic Women's Club.

Remember, your participation matters! Let's honor Dr. King's legacy by marching in unity and spreading the message of hope, equality, and progress under the theme "Together We Are The Dream."

We look forward to seeing you there!
