Early this morning, our country witnessed yet another school shooting, this time in Perry, Iowa.

A gunman opened fire in the hallways of Perry High School on the first day of classes after winter break, wounding at least 2 students and an administrator, and sending the community into a panic.

Our country witnessed over 346 school shootings in 2023. And now Perry, Iowa faces yet another school shooting – the SECOND already of 2024. Yet Republican lawmakers have BLOCKED life-saving gun safety legislation at every turn. It has never been more urgent that we kick every despicable lawmaker out of office who sits by and does nothing as our children are murdered and threatened in the hallways of their schools. So we are urgently asking for 900 gifts to help us fully fund our campaign to defeat every coward who refuses to protect our families and communities and elect gun safety champions who will protect our lives. The shooting today marks the SECOND school shooting of 2024.

Yet Iowa has virtually no gun safety laws on the books.

In 2021, cowardly state lawmakers even voted to eliminate gun permitting laws in Iowa.

And in 2022, Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley voted AGAINST the Senate’s bipartisan gun safety bill, the first piece of legislation of its kind in decades.


It’s clear: There will NEVER be enough bloodshed to convince cowardly lawmakers to act on gun safety.


That’s why we need to unseat every pathetic, spineless lawmaker who refuses to take a stand – and we need to do it NOW.

We can’t afford to waste another second. We have to fund gun safety candidates who are challenging lawmakers who allow our families to be murdered in our schools, movie theaters, bowling alleys, and everywhere in between. Electing these candidates is key to keeping our families safe.
