** Former Chairman of the Utah Republican Party joins the Governors race
------------------------------------------------------------

This past spring, as my term as chairman was coming to a close I told you, “This isn’t the end, this is only the beginning.” With that being said, today I am honored to officially declare my candidacy for Governor in the upcoming election.

As the former Utah Republican Party Chair, I bring a unique understanding and a strong commitment to advancing the well-being of Utah and all of its residents.

As a 6th generation rancher, father of 5, and small business owner, I have a grassroots grasp on Utah values and the pressing issues our State faces. Not only do I worry about my children’s future, but yours as well.

With my proven record of effective leadership within the Utah Republican Party, as well as years of collaboration with Federal Representatives across America on agriculture, land, and water policy, I am prepared to cultivate a stronger, more sustainable future for Utahans and our posterity.

As chairman I quickly learned that too often the currency of politics is dishonesty and disloyalty. It's high time we put honesty back into politics. It's time for leadership that can't be bought and leaders who are willing to do what they say and say what they mean.

I am committed to transparency while working with the people of Utah to create policies that reflect the various needs and aspirations within our unique communities, as well as protecting our State as a whole from Federal overreach and influence. There has never been a more important time in our State’s history to have strong hands on the reins.

We are excited to embark on this journey as we share our message, values, and plans for the state of Utah. We invite you to join our campaign and appreciate any and all support. You can volunteer, donate, show up to caucus night or, become a state delegate to name a few. There are many ways we could use your help and look forward to working with you and seeing you all along the way.
