Join Our MLK Day Trail Cleanup

We are proud to partner with Volunteer Arlington, a program of the Leadership Center for Excellence, for the 2024 MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 15. This day of service helps strengthen and empower our community through hands-on volunteer opportunities. Together with WalkArlington, we will be cleaning up a section of the Washington & Old Dominion Trail. We’ll meet at the trailhead at Columbia Pike and S. Four Mile Run. With your help, can make this holiday a “day on,” not a day off!

Back by Popular Demand: The Notorious ARL Bike Ride

Back by popular demand, this three-hour, 18-mile bike tour will traverse trails and streets all over Arlington that have played a role in the county's sordid and unseemly past. Stops include the site where former spy Robert Hanssen picked up a trash bag of $50,000 from the Russians, the former workplace of Lorena Bobbit, and the site of the Deep Throat parking garage that factored prominently into the Watergate scandal.
