All of us here with the Schools & Communities First Coalition are closely monitoring the impact of the coronavirus on our communities in California. While we send our thoughts to all Californians being impacted by this virus, we're sending you some resources to help stop the spread of the virus.
At this time, we encourage all of our supporters to follow the advice of the CDC and the California Department of Public Health, as well as local health agencies to keep yourselves and your families healthy during this time.
We also wanted to let you know that we are taking active measures as a coalition to do our part to limit the spread of this virus, including postponing events and door knocking, as well as encouraging staff to work from home when possible.
As a coalition, we are doing all that we can to support efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus.
Whether helping our neighbors during an earthquake or opening our homes to them during a wildfire, Californians show up for each other, no matter what we look like, where we come from or where we live.
We know that our families and neighborhoods are stronger, safer and healthier when we join together and demand proven solutions to enable us all to weather a crisis and ensure our wellbeing.
Together, we can respond to this public health crisis as a unified community.
From all of us on the Schools & Communities First Coalition, please stay safe, wash your hands, and continue to support those who are most vulnerable during this difficult time!
