Tim was the first and only candidate at the Democratic debates last week to mention K-12 education — and that shouldn’t come as a surprise. Throughout his career, Tim has prioritized investing in our kids, our public schools, and our teachers. Tim has always been a trailblazer — and his plan for education is nothing short of bold. He wants to ensure that every school is on the path to becoming a public community school, with well-supported teachers and families, access to nutritious school meals and college and career pathways. Focusing on trauma-informed care and social-emotional learning are two vital aspects of his plan, but he knows others might view his holistic approach as “out of the box.” That’s why we need you to add your name and tell those who doubt him that you stand not just with Tim, but with kids who are experiencing trauma, anxiety, and undue stress.
