You won’t hear this from most campaigns – on either side of the aisle – but David is like family to us. He cares about our team as much as he cares about the issues that affect our state and our country, from threats to the LGBTQ+ community and women’s rights, to corporate influence that’s corrupting Congress.

 

It’s not every election that we get the chance to elect someone who has personally experienced and understands the struggles that the majority of Idahoan families face. We have to work harder than ever next month and beyond to make sure voters know David is the best candidate for 2024.

Republicans in states like Idaho are working to send the most extreme state abortion bans to the Supreme Court, while their allies in Congress – including Mike Simpson – are blocking any attempts by Democrats to protect women.

 

Their attacks on our freedoms started before they gave the House Speaker title to Mike Johnson, the extremist who wants to revoke David’s rights as a gay man and criminalize same-sex relationships altogether.

 

Now organizations like No Labels and darkhorse candidates like RFK Jr. could block Biden or his Republican opponent (most likely Trump) from reaching 270 electoral votes next November. If that happens, then Congress will handpick the next president – and we will need more Democrats like David in the room when it does.

 

Your support will help us place ad buys, print more campaign materials, and hire new staff. The more equipped we are for 2024, the better our chances of success – not only to elect David but to encourage more Democrats to vote next year than ever before.
