Since they took over the majority just one short year ago, my colleagues across the aisle have put their dysfunction and obstruction on full display.

The chaos and partisan games are exhausting, and the lack of serious solutions for our families, seniors, and hard working Americans is inexcusable.

And what a contrast this past year has been to our Democratic-led Congresses – when we used our time in the majority to lower healthcare costs for millions, stand up for our Democratic allies around the world, and make historic investments in our environment and infrastructure. Americans are counting on Congress to get back to legislating and governing in a serious manner.

Democrats can – and I’m optimistic, will – retake the House majority in 2024. We must get back to legislating in a serious manner, and if we want to compete with the heavy spending we’ll see in the Philadelphia suburbs from GOP megadonors and super PACs, we have to use these public FEC filing deadlines to show the strength and capacity of our team.
