Dear John,

Jungmin lovingly caresses a yellowed index card while she thinks about her future. The index card contains her favorite recipe that she learned from her grandmother. This recipe has been passed down through the generations.

Jungmin has always loved baking. It started when she was a little girl standing side by side with her halmeoni (grandmother) in the kitchen. As an adult, she wants to honor her grandmother’s memory. She wants to open a bakery and share her cherished recipes with the world.

But Jungmin is an accountant and has no idea how to start a business or run a bakery.

With your help, Jungmin’s dream can become a reality.

NVFS developed the Escala small business development program to fill the need for Jungmin and other entrepreneurs in the area. Through Escala, entrepreneurs receive personalized support tailored to their business dream – learning how to create a business plan, raise capital, register and market a business, and other topics that lead to a successful business.

Will you donate now to jumpstart Jungmin’s journey to being a full-fledged business owner?

Your gift will provide the consulting, training, and coaching that Jungmin needs to start her business.

Together, we can help Jungmin and so many others fulfill their dreams.

With gratitude,

Kathleen
