It’s Jessica Velasquez, Chair of the Democratic Party of New Mexico. Although Democrats put up historic fundraising numbers that enabled sweeping victories in 2022, our 2023 fundraising took a major hit. We’re approaching our end-of-year fundraising deadline, and we’re still $14,000 behind on our 2023 goal. This means that we may have to start off 2024 by making the tough decisions to cut back on voter outreach programs that are critical to electing Democrats.

MAGA Republicans are putting their misinformation machine into overdrive. With everything at stake in 2024, I’m compelled to make one more urgent request for support before the end of the year. The future of reproductive rights and democracy depends on it.

You’ve seen the news - MAGA Republicans aren’t going anywhere and neither are their anti-abortion and anti-democratic candidates. Future elections will come down to the wire and we have to do everything we can to defend reproductive rights and democracy.
