Healthy Future of Texas is committed to improving the well-being of young
Texans through equitable access to sexual health education, contraception,
and resources.

As this year comes to a close, we celebrate our 2023 achievements,
including:

* Serving 12,000 young people through our educational programs.

* Defeating bills that would undermine our mission, including the
permanent adoption of "opt-in” parental permission policy for sex ed in
schools.
* Providing extensive information to school districts on selecting,
implementing, and maintaining sex ed curricula.

As we look to 2024, we are also mindful of all that lies ahead in the
charged political atmosphere of our state. Controversy around sex ed
continues to grow, jeopardizing the adoption of medically accurate,
evidence based Sexual Health Education curricula.

Texas youth are looking to us for a trusted place to TALK ABOUT IT. Your
partnership helps ensure they can do so. PLEASE JOIN US,

Appreciatively,

Stephanie L. Russell, Chief Development Officer
