Two days ago, I reached out to ask for your help because at that time, we'd raised $3,939 toward our $10,000 year-end fundraising goal [[link removed]] .
The response has been overwhelming! You pitched in to raise an additional $3,542, bringing the current total to $7,481. It means more than I can express to know that so many of you are personally committed to this work.

In 2023, together, we made such a difference in land use, housing, and transportation policy. We published hundreds of stories (we’re re-sharing some of our top picks [[link removed]] during this holiday week!). We brought more than 1,200 people together in-person to strengthen connections and plant the seeds of change. We made this happen, day to day, with a scrappy team of just seven staff, a handful of amazing interns, and lots of wonderful volunteers – thanks to the support of hundreds of individual donors.
In 2024, we've got even bigger goals in mind. And your support is what will make it possible.
