This past year has been the honor of a lifetime, serving you as your representative in Congress. It was definitely an eventful year, but through it all I always kept my commitment to fight for you and give Upstate NY a voice in Congress.

I look forward to year two and appreciate all of your support along the way. There's plenty of work still to do, but together we can continue to deliver results on the things that matter most.

A Holiday Tradition

Let's have a little fun and start things off with one of my favorite traditions - Festivus and the Airing of Grievances!
10. Money can’t buy you love or apparently a pennant #LetsGoMets

9. If I had a nickel for every time I was asked to explain Bidenomics, I’d have less nickels because of Bidenomics.

8. If I had a nickel for every Speaker vote I took, it might make up the difference.

7. 233 years of New Yorkers coming here for work, and yet no one in Washington can figure out how to make a decent slice of pizza.

6. I had a comment about the Giants not even knowing how to tank right, but Tommy DeVito’s agent convinced me it would be in my best interest not to make it.

5. Stop asking me if I like Mirabito or Stewart's more. I love both of my gas stations equally.

4. We should keep an eye on Andrew Cuomo. He might be up to something.

3. Can pervert Al Franken stop emailing me about donating to Josh Riley? Josh is a millionaire! He has enough money.

2. My five-year-old caught stealing a cookie answers questions more directly than the presidents of our most prestigious universities. It’s really not that hard to say antisemitism is bad!

1. Redistricting. Seriously. Again?
A lot of Representatives sit back their first year and don't push on many issues. Not me. I went to Congress to fight for you and am proud to have delivered some key results already.

✅Passed Lower Energy Costs Act to lower energy costs.

✅Passed the Secure the Border Act to secure the border, end the migrant crisis, streamline asylum process.

✅Passed my first bill, the Schools Not Shelters Act, which prevents Governor Hochul from housing migrants in schools.

✅Expanded mental health and substance use treatment, broke down barriers for individuals with disabilities, and fought to deliver relief to farmers.
New York 19 is a big district. But in order to best represent you, I have made it a priority to get out and spend as much time throughout the entire district as possible. It's been a lot of miles, a lot of coffee, and a lot of fun.

11+ Town Hall meetings to hear directly from you
23,284 Miles on the car, driving to each county as often as possible
225 Cups of coffee from amazing coffee shops throughout the district
23 Pizzas flipped

We accomplished some good things this past year, but as we look ahead there are some key issues that we are still fighting on.

Securing the Border
The Biden Administration's open border policy is devastating communities across the country. Here in New York, we've seen how it not only hurts us economically, but it puts our communities in danger. We must secure the border.

Affordability
Middle Class Americans are struggling. The cost of everything continues to go up, while the value of every dollar earned goes down. Despite the Biden Administration's contrary claims, we see the truth every time we go to a grocery store, as simply feeding our families is becoming a challenge.

We need to slow down inflation and we need to restore economic opportunity.
Thank you again for all your support throughout this year. From my family to yours, I wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.

- Marc
