End the War on Gaza!

Next Rally:
Sat., Jan. 6 2024

2pm

Westlake Center
400 Pine St

Join DSA members and others for a rally and march on Jan. 6 for the over 20,000 children, families, and innocent civilians slaughtered by Israel's bombing and total siege of Gaza. We must end the senseless cycle of violence in the Middle East by ending the policy of occupation and war. Join the growing movement to demand an end to all US military aid for Israel , and an end to the war, occupation, apartheid and Free Palestine!

While the Democratic Party Establishment - including Adam Smith - fell over themselves to lavish military funding and weaponry for the slaughter of thousands of innocent Palestinians, Seattle DSA has stood shoulder to shoulder with Palestinians. We've attended every rally and Seattle DSA members have joined the blockade of the Port of Tacoma, Boeing, the Space Needle and Senator Murray's office, risking arrest. Seattle DSA has also produced the banner above and picket signs to demand FREE PALESTINE and and End to All Military Aid to Israel.

To produce more, we need your help. Can you kick down $15/month to counter the roughly $15 billion Biden is proposing to send to the Israeli war machine? If you can't make a recurring monthly donation, please donate $15, $50, or $100 to produce more pickets signs to End all US Military Aid to Israel!

Raise the Wage Renton is in Jane McAlevey | Can America be great again?

"On Nov. 20, the Raise the Wage Renton (RTWR) campaign announced the initiative to increase Renton’s minimum wage officially collected enough signatures to make it onto the February special election ballot. The proposal would make the city of 105,000 people the second-largest municipality in Washington to have a minimum wage above the statewide rate.

If successful, Renton’s minimum wage for workers at companies with 500 or more employees will rise on July 1, 2024, to $20.29 an hour — four dollars more than the state minimum of $16.28. For those employed at medium-sized businesses between 15 and 499 employees, there will be a two-year phase-in period, with the minimum wage rising to $18.29 an hour in 2024 and then increasing yearly to match the large-employer rate by 2026. Like other Washington minimum wage laws, the rate will also be adjusted for inflation on an annual basis."
