͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌

This week the House went home, so there’s no congressional update for you.

But being home for a week let me do my first campaign swing through Western North Carolina.

We hit six counties: Cherokee, Macon, Swain, Jackson, Haywood, and Buncombe.

It went great, but we got a lot of responses from folks who wanted to attend but couldn’t because they weren’t in town that day.

Which gave us an interesting idea:

As you know, we’ve developed an unusually large readership for this newsletter.

I’m genuinely curious what would happen if we invited all of you to a virtual event.

How many people would come? Maybe a whole lot. I’m really not sure.

So we’re having a virtual event and making it our last event of the year.

This will be my chance to meet most of you for the first time, to take questions about Congress and our campaign for Attorney General, and - most importantly - for me to say thank you.

Your decision to open these emails and support our campaign has, in many ways, been life-changing. I truly appreciate it, and it would be a joy to be able to share my gratitude.

The event will be December 28th at 4:00 p.m. EST/1:00 p.m. PST (We set it a little earlier than usual because so many of you will be with family that evening.) All funds raised will support our campaign for Attorney General.

Feel free to stop by for any or all of it. You can RSVP here.

See you then,
Jeff
