This year has been a testament to our dedication to empowering candidates and advancing our mission. In 2024, we're looking forward to continuing to amplify unheard voices and redefine the political narrative. Thank you for being a vital part of our journey!

Henry Santana was born in the Dominican Republic and immigrated to Boston at a young age. Growing up in public housing in Mission Hill, Henry attended Boston Public Schools and spent his time playing baseball at Marcella Park.

After graduating from Lasell University, Henry dove head-first into public service. He worked as an Aide to Councilor Kenzie Bok, serving as a liaison to Mission Hill and Fenway. Most recently, Henry served as Mayor Michelle Wu’s Director of Civic Organizing, where he worked to eliminate barriers to civic engagement and expand opportunities for everyone to be involved in their communities.

Henry Santana ran and won his campaign for Boston City Council At-Large in November. He’s committed to using his voice to advocate for equity, justice, and opportunity, and to working collaboratively with others to build a better Boston for all.LEARN MORE [[link removed]]

New Politics supports outstanding military veterans and national service leaders, alumni of programs like AmeriCorps and the Peace Corps, to step up and serve our country again, this time through politics. We were proud to be behind the movement of veterans who ran for office for the first time in 2018, and we have big plans to grow into the future.
