I am writing to ask if there's anything I can say to convince you to split a $10 contribution between Senators Tammy Baldwin, Bob Casey, and Amy Klobuchar's re-election campaigns before their FEC deadline comes to a close.
What if I told you that these are going to be three of the closest Senate races in the country and if even one of them loses, Democrats are likely to lose control of the Senate?
What if I told you that would be terrible news regardless of what happens in the presidential elections, but an absolute disaster if Trump somehow returns to office. Sorry to put that thought into your head — but it would be bleak?
And what if I told you that all three are facing outside attacks funded by super-wealthy far-right Republicans and they've asked for our help to fight back?
Now I know that $10 split three ways may not seem like an election-winning amount of money, but by the time you read this, quite a few people you've never met have already chipped-in their $10.
Now they're hoping you'll do the same. Because one person cannot hold the Senate by themselves — it will take all of us... together. So please:
