Dear Healthy Futures of Texas Family,

As we approach the end of 2023, it's a momentous time to reflect on the
incredible journey we've had together. This year has been nothing short of
extraordinary, filled with accomplishments and positive impact.

* The success of the 2022 merger continues to unfold, enhancing our
ability to make a difference and increasing the impact of our collective
efforts.
* We introduced a new suite of brands for all our programs, establishing a
fresh and unified identity for our initiatives.
* The launch of Talk About It Texas, designed for statewide dissemination,
marks a significant step forward in reaching communities across Texas.
* We unveiled two new websites, hftx.org [3] and talkaboutittx.org [4],
offering accessible platforms to advance our mission in the digital space.
* We were awarded a federal grant for $2 million per year for the next 5
years to advance equity in sexual health education and access to resources
for systems that serve youth and young adults in Dallas, San Antonio, and
the RGV.

And let's not forget the heart of our success – our incredible team. Now
a consolidated force of 50 passionate and committed individuals, our
collective efforts have made a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

As we celebrate the holiday season and look ahead to 2024, let's carry
forward the spirit of collaboration, impact, and dedication that defines
Healthy Futures of Texas.

Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to creating healthier
futures for all our Texas youth.

Wishing you a joyous holiday season and a Happy New Year!

Warm regards,

Evelyn Delgado - CEO

In early December, the Texas Legislature concluded a fourth special
legislative session, meaning lawmakers spent a historic 246 days at the
Capitol in 2023. We're pleased to share that all sessions concluded without
the passage of any legislation that would harm sex education. Looking
ahead, there is a possibility that the Governor may call another special
session in early 2024.

Stay informed with us as we navigate legislative developments in the coming
year.
