Hey, everyone. Natalie here, Executive Director at March For Our Lives. I want to talk to you about our movement’s plans for 2024. But first, if you’re able, can you chip in to fund our work?

The fights to protect our democracy and to keep our schools, public spaces, and communities safe are intrinsically linked. Here’s how:

❌ The NRA and other dark money groups have poured BILLIONS (yes, BILLIONS with a B) of dollars into our elections.

❌ What do they get in return? Politicians at every level of our government who are unwilling to meaningfully end gun violence.

❌ Because of politicians’ inaction, guns continue to flood our communities. The US has DOUBLED its gun production in the last 15 years.

Lather, rinse, repeat… and that’s how you get the gun violence epidemic in America!

The good news? We can break the cycle. And we have a plan to make that happen:

1. Gun violence is an issue extremely important to engaging and turning out voters — especially young and first-time voters.

2. Through our election work, often called Get Out the Vote or GOTV, we will work in critical states to educate and mobilize voters who care about our issue.

3. Our organization — this movement of young people rising up and fighting for our futures — is uniquely positioned to do this work.

But we can’t do it without your help.

The election may feel like it’s far off, but there’s no time to waste. The threat to our communities from gun violence is real; 2023 has had more mass shootings than any other year on record. And our democracy — and the ability to make meaningful change on gun violence — is on the line.
