A Note from CAPT Hung Cao USN (Ret) Over the past week, I announced that my campaign has raised over $1 million to defeat Tim Kaine since launching our campaign a little more than four months ago. Commander Everett Alvarez, US Navy (Ret), the longest serving Prisoner of War at the Hanoi Hilton hosted an event for me with more than a dozen members of the Senate and the House of Representatives. We finished the week with the Army-Navy football game – it wasn’t the result I wanted, but it was a great game. Beat Army (next year)! - CAPT Hung Cao USN (Ret) |
Last week, Everett Alvarez who served as a Prisoner of War at the Hanoi Hilton for nearly nine year, hosted an event for me. We were joined by more than a dozen members of the Senate and the House of Representatives at the Capitol Hill Club. This national treasure presented me as potentially the first Vietnamese-American US Senator who will be inaugurated on the 50th anniversary of the fall of Saigon. I appreciate everyone who was able to join us and listen to my message. |
