BREAKING: EU Commission APPROVES cancer-linked glyphosate for 10 more years

Should the U.S. BAN glyphosate?

Outrageous news, friend.

After representatives of EU member states were deadlocked on a proposal to prolong the use of cancer-linked glyphosate, the executive arm of the commission decided to endorse the proposal and approved the use of glyphosate for the next 10 years!

Scientists have been raising the alarm on glyphosate’s links to cancer, particularly non-Hodgkin lymphoma, for years. New research also suggests that glyphosate could impair brain function in young people, as well as cause harm to the kidneys and fetal development. Continued use of glyphosate would cause serious harm to communities near crop fields sprayed with this pesticide, and contaminate food with toxic glyphosate residues.

We need to protect our communities from the health risks of exposure to toxic pesticides, but the odds are increasingly stacked against us. With pesticide companies continually lobbying governments for dangerous pesticides like glyphosate, we need to quickly develop a plan to fight back. Can we count on you to add your voice by completing our quick survey by midnight tonight?
