Hi John,
The 36th annual All Peoples Celebration is well underway. We have an exciting program in store. The celebration will take place at the Balboa Park Activity Center on Monday, January 15th. Purchase tickets to the event that welcomes over 1200+ San Diegans to honor the living legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr! The theme for 2024 is: Claiming DIGNITY which invites attendees to practice an intentional exchange of humanity; to make a commitment to begin every conversation for change with DIGNITY.

We have some incredible, local talent joining us. You won’t want to miss it. Miki Vale – a renowned international rapper, writer, and playwright – will be debuting a new song written in collaboration with Alliance San Diego and its supporters. We will also welcome back the Thunder Squad, a youth drum-line and majorette group from the Heartbeat Performing Arts School. Our community space performance will be presented by Ballet Folklorico en Aztlan. That is an amazing lineup of talent! Check out the video below featuring our keynote speaker, Dr. Alisa Warren, who is a trailblazer in the journey to bring human rights home to the U.S..

If you are unable to attend the event in person but would still like to support the celebration festivities, I invite you to make a donation to our Annual Campaign which is fundraising resources to continue developing leaders!
Thank you for all that you do for Alliance San Diego and the communities we serve. Because of your support we can continue making San Diego a more inclusive democracy. We hope to see you at the All Peoples Celebration! |
In Solidarity, Miesha Rice
