On Dec. 7, Amazon management at DGE9 illegally targeted and terminated Arturo for organizing at work. Over the last 2 years, Arturo has played a leading role in organizing for better working conditions at his warehouse. Just one week before his firing, he and several fellow coworkers delivered a petition with over 100 signatures to management calling for better wages and safety practices 🖊️💪🪧
All workers have a right to organize at work without intimidation. Amazon must stop union busting and reinstate him NOW! 📦✊
As a worker organizer, Arturo and the DGE9 organizing committee refuse to be silenced. They are already fighting back against Amazon and working towards his reinstatement. Still, Arturo has bills that go unpaid until then. Please donate here to contribute both to Arturo’s basic needs until he is reinstated and the continued organizing of Amazonians United Atlanta in their struggle for all workers to be free from the fear of Amazon’s retaliation and exploitative practices.

Join us at our Holiday Party Saturday Dec. 16th from 6-8 PM! We'll have a short meeting for business followed by socializing. It's a potluck with an ugly sweater contest. Enjoy comradeship and holiday treats with DSA and friends. All are welcome! Please also bring donations for our Winter Drive!

Atlanta DSA is organizing our annual Winter Clothing Drive, and we need your help! The Winter Drive will run Oct. 30-Jan. 30, and comrades will be collecting blankets, masks, medical supplies, hand warmers and more during November and December to distributed to folks in need around metro Atlanta.
If you have lightly used or new winter clothes or supplies to donate, please drop them off at the locations below (more locations TBD), or bring them to the next DSA event you attend. Look for the ATLDSA box!
