Hi John,

We previously emailed you to let you know that youth turnout in November DOUBLED on college campuses compared to the last time there was an open Supreme Court seat.

We are so proud of this stat because this past fall, the affiliated C3 organization, New PA Project Education Fund, conducted non-partisan voter registration and civic education on campuses across Pennsylvania. In a single weekend blitz at Penn State University in Centre County, the New PA Project Education Fund collected 420 voter registration forms!

Here’s the thing: ABC News recently reported that issues, not candidates, are motivating youth voters to turn out to the polls. In fact, a CIRCLE analysis found that 59% of voters under 30 said top-of-the-ticket candidates “were ‘not a factor’ in their vote in 2022, more than any other age group.” Their top priorities were the issues they cared about, such as gun safety, climate change, and reproductive freedom.

We are no stranger to this fact. That’s why we already center youth in our work and listen to hear what issues matter most to them. Help us continue to engage and activate young voters by donating $25 today →

As we head into 2024, engaging young voters will be critical. While they historically are a low-turnout voting bloc, they have the power to change the face of Pennsylvania – and our nation. That’s why we always center youth (17-35) in our work to ensure they embrace their power and turn out to vote.

Next year, we will once again be out on the ground conducting voter registration and civic education at college campuses, and universities all across Pennsylvania. Our staff will speak directly to students, listen to what they have to say, and ensure they have the information they need to vote their values at the ballot box. But we cannot do this alone:

Centering and empowering young constituents is one of the New Pennsylvania Project’s top priorities. Will you chip in $25 right now to help us register young voters and ensure they have what they need to participate in our democracy?
