John,
As part of our response to last week's shooting at UNLV, we're asking March For Our Lives members to add their name and call on Congress to pass universal background checks.
Thousands of gun violence prevention advocates have added their names in support of this life-saving policy – but we don't have your signature yet.
Can you take a moment today and add your name? It will take all of us together to demand congress take action.

Re: Action Alert: Stand with UNLV victims
John,
In the aftermath of tragedies in Las Vegas and Texas, we find ourselves grieving again. The reality of living in America means the threat of gun violence is always present, and the grieving never really stops.
We are fed up with everyday gun violence being the norm. We are fed up with living in fear of gunshots and having no guarantee that we will be safe in public.
If politicians want to save lives and protect kids, they'd stand with survivors and pass gun safety measures with the urgency it demands.
That's why we are renewing our call for Congress to pass long overdue universal background check legislation. Congress must act quickly to address the gun violence epidemic in our country.
If you're ready to help us fight for gun safety legislation nationwide, add your name today in support of universal background checks.
Together, we will honor the victims by continuing to fight like hell for the living.
In solidarity,
March For Our Lives
