I was an outsider when I ran for South Carolina’s state legislature against a 30-year incumbent. A week before the primary, I was polling at 15 percent.
When I ran for governor, I was the least funded, and the least known GOP candidate in the race. A few months before Election Day, I was polling in fourth place.
I’ve been the underdog each time — and I’ve never lost an election.
Every race I run, I run to win – even when the odds are stacked against me. You know why? Because I will always fight for what’s right. I will always rise to the challenge and deliver results for the people.
I’ve been the underdog in this race since day one. But I’ve been putting in the work every moment of every day to reach every voter, shake every hand, answer every question, and earn every vote.
My name is Nikki Haley. I want to tell you a bit about myself and why I’m running for President of the United States.
I’m running for President because my parents came to America more than 50 years ago – an America that was strong and proud, and full of opportunities. I want them to know that America again.
I’m running for President as a military spouse. My husband is deployed and I want him and his military brothers and sisters to know their sacrifice means something – that we do love this country.
I’m running for President for the future of our kids. I have a daughter who just got married and I saw how hard it was for her and her husband to buy a home. I’m doing this for my son who’s a senior in college and shouldn’t have to worry about saying things on a paper that he doesn’t believe in just to get an A.
I’m running for my daughter, my son, and our future generations. I want them to experience the freedom and opportunity that the American Dream has to offer.
I’m running for President because we have a country to save!
I’ve seen that even on our worst days, we are blessed to live in America. But I also know that under Biden’s leadership, times are tough, our future is slipping, and America can be doing so much better.
As governor, I was dubbed a “jobs governor” because I slashed our unemployment rate, brought jobs back to our state, and shepherded in a successful economic recovery.
At the UN I fought for America, made sure our allies knew we had their backs, and stood up to murderers and dictators to let them know that America was taking names.
I know how to make America strong and proud because I’ve done it before. And I’ll do it as your next President.
As President, I’ll revitalize our economy, support small businesses, stop Washington’s spending sprees, protect our border, champion school choice, and save America’s future.
