Annual States United Meeting

Last week, we convened for our annual meeting to share our successes and challenges during the year. state leaders traveled as far as Arizona and Utah to take advantage of this opportunity to collaborate in person ~ "The people here are amazing. This community is amazing. I come to these national gatherings and feel recharged. I will think about how to keep this recharged feeling with me."

Plus, Deputy Directors from the White House Office of GVP dropped in to initiate the first of many strategic discussions with our state affiliates!

Following the SUPGV meeting, we attended the annual GVP summit hosted by the Center for American Progress (CAP).

Nick of Wisconsin Anti-Violence Effort (WAVE) and Yolanda of One Aim Illinois spoke on the States Panel session at CAP.

Many of our state executive directors were former volunteer leaders with other national organizations. MA, TX, RI and DE to name just a few!
