Finding hope and healing by building community.

In 2021, an average of 292 Americans died from drug overdoses every day*, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, impacting so many families and communities.

Staci James and her family know this heartbreaking experience of loss firsthand. After Staci’s son passed away, she called on his deep belief in unity, encouragement and support to create a loving and caring environment for others who’ve lost loved ones. Staci now leads the Hope Movement Coalition, which connects with families across the country. If those families have loved ones who are struggling with substance use, the coalition sends them directly to the Partnership’s free, personalized support services.
