License Renewal Past Due
If you have not submitted your application to renew your distributor or subjobber license, you must do so immediately to continue to do business in Minnesota in 2024.
*Note*: The business name and address on your customer invoices must be the same that is on your distributor or subjobber license.

Distributor Returns due December 18
Your November return and payment for Cigarette Tax or Tobacco Tax are due December 18.
Remember that you can file your return and pay any tax due electronically through e-Services [ [link removed] ].
Holiday Schedule for Cigarette Stamp Orders
The cigarette stamp order ship dates are as follows for the weeks of:
* *Christmas*: Tuesday, December 26, and Friday, December 29
* *New Year's*: Tuesday, January 2, and Friday, January 5
We must receive your order by 10 a.m. for same-day shipping. We will process orders received after 10 a.m. on the next shipping day.

2024 Cigarette Tax Rates
The following tax rates apply to cigarette sales on or after January 1, 2024:
* *Excise Tax*: 15.2 cents per cigarette
* *Sales Tax*: 73.9 cents per pack of 20 cigarettes
