Early-Bird Savings End Friday!

Claim your spot at the Texas Historical Commission’s Real Places 2024 conference before the final rate increase. *Register by this Friday, December 15, at midnight* at the full conference in-person rate of $400—which includes all meals, snacks, and drinks during the event, including the opening reception and the THC Awards Banquet. On December 16, the full conference in-person rate will increase by $150.

There are also discounted early-bird rates for students and courthouse stewards, as well as for single-day registrations, workshops, and tours. The 10 percent discount for organizations registering multiple people at once also applies to the early-bird rate (the first registrant pays the full early-bird rate, and each additional registration in the group is discounted by 10 percent).

Additionally, thanks to sponsors like our title partner Phoenix I Restoration and Construction, LLC, the Friends of the Texas Historical Commission is offering a limited number of hotel room stipends. But act fast—the stipend application deadline is also this Friday, December 15. Learn more at our Plan Your Trip webpage [ [link removed] ].

Can’t make it to Austin in April? No problem. There are also early-bird savings for virtual registration, which includes livestreams of all sessions as well as access to recordings of all sessions for up to 60 days. (In-person attendees will also have access to recordings.)

Need another reason to attend? We’ve got many! Check out our Why Attend? page [ [link removed] ].

Register Now, Pay Later

Are you concerned that your fiscal budget cycle or a delay in your purchasing process may prevent you from accessing the early-bird rate? No need to worry. You can register now, lock in the early-bird rate, and pay later after the invoice.

On the payment page at the end of the registration process, the options are credit card, check, or “please invoice me.” Select the latter and you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to download the invoice. Then you’re all set!

Don’t miss this once-a-year celebration of the people, sites, and stories of the Lone Star State, presented by the Friends of the Texas Historical Commission in partnership with Phoenix I Restoration and Construction, LLC. We hope to see you online or in person April 3–5, 2024, at the Renaissance Austin Hotel!
