City Hall is putting boots on the ground to control the spread

Dear ,

Coronavirus is already affecting our city, but we are responding the way New Orleanians know how: we are strong, we are determined, and we will stick together.

During this time, we have to do our best to remain calm and observe precautions ([link removed]) to limit the spread of the virus. Our seniors and folks with underlying chronic medical conditions are at a higher risk of serious complications from coronavirus. So, we need to be smart to protect our most vulnerable people.

I have been working with my team to get boots on the ground to get ahead of this thing. From working with the Louisiana Department of Health, to ensuring no one will lose water during this time, our city is preparing for the effects, mitigating other possible complications to the situation, and controlling the spread.
