2023 has been the year of unions for American workers:

According to CNN, approximately 900,000 union workers have won immediate pay raises of 10% or more in just the last year. From the United Auto Workers who striked for over six weeks, to the 75,000 health care workers at Kaiser Permanente who waged the largest US health care strike ever in October, the labor movement has achieved so much this year.
Strong unions mean stronger communities and a more stable and prosperous economy for everyone.
That’s why President Biden made history as the first sitting President to join a picket line at the UAW strike – and it’s why, as the daughter of a former union ironworker, Lori has been a fierce advocate for labor rights since the day she was sworn into Congress.
As workers and unions continue advocating for better wages, paid family and medical leave, and more, we need to ensure we keep pro-labor and pro-worker leaders like Lori in Washington to support their efforts.
