Right now I’m getting ready to catch a flight to Iowa to meet up with my mom, Rena and Josh on the campaign trail.
It’s going to be a packed weekend ahead, but before I head out, I wanted to send you a quick note about my mom’s fantastic debate performance this week for today’s $5 Friday!
Even though I couldn't be there in person, I was glued to my TV, cheering her on. She was exceptional as always, answering every question with grit and grace, despite the barrage of desperate attacks from her opponents.
Two things really caught my attention.
→ First, she clearly won – handling everything with poise and strength.
→ Second, we knew the knives would be out for my mom, but it was wild to watch just how desperate her opponents’ attacks got.
Between her rising to second in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, beating Biden by 10 to 13 points in poll after poll, getting an endorsement from the largest conservative grassroots organization, and new supporters flooding her way, it’s clear that my mom’s rise is real and her opponents know it.
But while her opponents wasted their time hurling desperate attacks, my mom was busy staying focused on the real issues Americans care about – which is exactly why her movement is growing every day.
My mom cares about lifting up every American. She doesn't do drama, vendettas or whining. She’s tired of the chaos and ready to get to work for the American people.
While it is clear momentum is on our side, there’s still a lot of work to be done between now and when the first votes take place in Iowa in just 38 days.

I’m running for President for the future of our kids. I have a daughter who just got married and I saw how hard it was for her and her husband to buy a home. I’m doing this for my son who’s a senior in college and shouldn’t have to worry about saying things on a paper that he doesn’t believe in just to get an A.
I’m running for my daughter, my son, and our future generations. I want them to experience the freedom and opportunity that the American Dream has to offer.
I’m running for President because we have a country to save!
I’ve seen that even on our worst days, we are blessed to live in America. But I also know that under Biden’s leadership, times are tough, our future is slipping, and America can be doing so much better.
As governor, I was dubbed a “jobs governor” because I slashed our unemployment rate, brought jobs back to our state, and shepherded in a successful economic recovery.
At the UN I fought for America, made sure our allies knew we had their backs, and stood up to murderers and dictators to let them know that America was taking names.
I know how to make America strong and proud because I’ve done it before. And I’ll do it as your next President.
As President, I’ll revitalize our economy, support small businesses, stop Washington’s spending sprees, protect our border, champion school choice, and save America’s future.
