John,
Last weekend we reached out about giving Laura a very special birthday gift.
Laura being Laura, she prefers giving to receiving, and she’s been preparing a memorable Hanukkah for her daughter Rachel.
But we haven’t stopped thinking of Laura’s campaign!
Give Laura a happy belated birthday by showing support in this crowded race. Donate $3 today.
But it’s not just about her birthday. We know that our boss is the right choice for CA-30 for so many reasons that we’re proud of:
- She’s the most viable progressive woman in the race for CA-30. With reproductive rights facing the biggest threat they’ve seen in decades, women’s voices in government are more important than ever.
- She has the experience to hit the ground running. Between her service in the State Assembly and as Mayor of Glendale, Laura has proven experience passing meaningful legislation on issues like reproductive rights, affordable housing, and addressing climate change. She’s uniquely qualified to hit the ground running on day one.
- She won’t take a cent of corporate PAC money. By refusing all contributions from corporate PACs, Laura is leading with integrity and ensuring that she’ll only ever be accountable to you and your families, not special interests.
But in this crowded field, every penny matters. And there’s no better time to give than before our final FEC deadline ahead of the primary.
So if you can, please donate $3 today to elect the birthday girl, the best leader for CA-30.

John,
It’s a special day for the campaign team.
Today is Laura’s birthday, and there’s nothing we could give her that would mean more than your support!
1966 was a groovy time.
The Doors recorded their first album; the Dodgers made the World Series; Gene Roddenberry produced the first episodes of Star Trek; and we met the first televised Batman.

But Laura was also born in a year of civic action and people taking representation into their own hands.
The National Organization for Women (NOW) was founded; transit workers walked off the job for better working conditions; the Civil Rights Movement was in full swing, with people across identities coming together to demand a seat at the table.
It was in these settings that Laura developed her passion for equity and standing up for the community, knowing that we’re only as strong as our most marginalized voices.
And now she wants to take that passion that has served our community to Washington, as the proven progressive fighter for CA-30.
Let’s show Laura our support by giving a birthday donation. It will mean the world to her.
