LCB Action: Alcohol-Related Rulemaking ? Alcohol Delivery and Takeout Rules and Alcohol Server Rules Filed

On Dec. 6, 2023, the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) took the following action:

Proposed rules filed ? Public comment period now open:

The Board approved a rule proposal (CR 102) to implement Substitute Senate Bill 5448 (chapter 279, Laws of 2023) which extended some delivery and takeout privileges that were scheduled to expire for alcohol establishments. The proposal also made some temporary privileges permanent, rescinded other privileges, and codified additional requirements that had previously been in rule only.

The rule proposal also amends regulations on Class 13 permit holders, allowing them to open and pour beer and wine away from a customer?s table without opening or pouring in an area that the Board has classified as off limits to persons under 21 years of age.
