Hi John,

This past fall, the affiliated C3 organization, New PA Project Education Fund, conducted non-partisan voter registration and civic education on campuses across Pennsylvania.

In one weekend blitz at Temple University in Philadelphia, the New PA Project Education Fund collected more than 70 voter registration forms!

We had incredible conversations with students, where we asked them where they planned to be on Election Day and worked to ensure students were aware they could register to vote on campus. We had these conversations at several campuses across the Commonwealth with the intention of registering lots of students to vote, making sure they all knew what was at stake in November.

And this was the impact: Youth turnout in November DOUBLED on college campuses compared to the last time there was an open Supreme Court seat.

This is a BIG win, but to keep up the momentum heading into 2024, we need your help. Help us prepare to continue to engage youth voters across Pennsylvania by donating $25 today. →

REGISTER ONE VOTER → $50
REGISTER TWO VOTERS → $100
REGISTER THREE VOTERS → $150
WHATEVER WORKS FOR YOU

Despite this win, youth voters still have low engagement rates. According to The Civics Center, the overall voter registration rate for 18-year-olds in the collar counties of Philadelphia and the city itself is 17%. Additionally, school districts in Pittsburgh showed a 15% registration rate. They found low voter registration rates among 18-year-olds in the most populous areas of the Commonwealth. With critical elections coming up in 2024, we have to continue to work to improve those stats.

In order to further our democracy, we must ensure that young people are informed, engaged, and ready to vote. That’s why we always center youth in our work.

Youth empowerment is one of the New Pennsylvania Project’s top priorities, but we need your help. Will you chip in $25 right now to help us register as young voters at campuses across the Commonwealth?

Thank you,
