insurrectionists** — has set its sights on a handful of Black and brown
progressives, including our champion, Summer Lee. Their plan? To pour an
unprecedented **$100 million** into defeating our progressive voices in
Congress in 2024.

The stakes have never been higher: this isn't just a financial battle—it's
a fight for the heart and soul of our democracy and that’s why we are

From the jump, Summer Lee's journey has been marked by relentless
opposition from right-wing billionaires. Last year, the same donors that
funded Donald Trump and Dr. Oz poured millions into vicious attack ads
against her, and now, AIPAC is actively seeking to undermine her
re-election again by bankrolling her challenger with GOP dollars! The same
money they used to back over 100 Jan. 6th insurrectionists.

Why are they targeting Summer? It's simple: She stands for communities too
often ignored by Washington. She represents the voice of the Black, brown,
poor, and marginalized. Her commitment to policies like Medicare for All
and a Green New Deal threatens those who prioritize corporate interests
over people. And because they can’t stand that she believes that
Palestinians and Israelis deserve equal rights and freedoms.

The problem is reports have indicated a downturn in small-dollar
donations, creating a significant gap in our defense fund and we must act
now before it’s too late!

We know we will never be able to raise $100 million since we don’t dabble
in Republican dark money, but our strength has always been in unity,
perseverance, and having people like you behind us, John.
