Weekend Service Impacts

* *Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 13, 14, 36, 49, 62, and 70* will have stop #1530 S Jackson Street & 5th Avenue S (Westbound) closed from Saturday, December 2 at 7 p.m. to Sunday, December 3 at 6 a.m. due to construction;
* *Route 3* to Madrona will be rerouted and will miss Stop #13090 E Spring Street & 34th Avenue (Westbound) from Saturday, December 2 at 9 a.m. to Sunday, December 3 at 3 p.m. due to construction;
* *Routes 36, 60, and 107* will be rerouted off of Beacon Avenue S in both directions near S Lander Street from Saturday, December 2 at 8 a.m. to Sunday, December 3 at 5 p.m. due to construction;
* *Routes 150, 165, and 183* will be rerouted during the Kent Winterfest event on Saturday, December 2 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.;
* *Route 181* will rerouted in both directions off of E Main Street on Saturday, December 2 from 2:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. during the Auburn Santa Parade and Tree Lighting;
* *Routes 226 and 249* will be rerouted off a portion of 108th Avenue NE from Saturday, December 2 to Sunday, December 3 at 7 p.m. due to construction?
* *Routes 255, 271, ST 542, and ST 545* will be rerouted in both directions off the SR 520 bridge from Friday, December 1 at 10 p.m. through Sunday, December 3 due to construction;

* *Seattle Center Monorail [ [link removed] ]?*will be open late from 8:30 a.m. to midnight on Saturday this weekend. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;

The Fares Cabinet?is important because it represents people who haven?t always had a say in decisions about transit and fare policies. This is your chance to make a difference and ensure your voice is heard!

*Who should apply?*

We encourage you?to apply to be part of the Cabinet if you:


* Live, work, or?travel in King County.
* Currently use public?transportation (such as buses, Link light rail, Water Taxi, or Metro Flex) or are interested in using it.
* Are eligible for?or currently use a reduced fare program.
* Believe in equity?and social justice, especially when it comes to transportation and access to opportunities.
* Are part of?a diverse community in King County and understand the challenges faced by people who are often excluded or treated unfairly.

As a thank?you for your time, cabinet members will be compensated at the rate of?*$75 per hour*?for attending meetings and other events.
