Senator Collins' approval ratings are lower than ever — and she recently told reporters she doesn’t “understand” why.

We can think of a few reasons.

Maybe it’s because of her critical vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

Or her vote in favor of the GOP tax bill that gave giant tax breaks to billionaires and corporations but left the rest of us behind.

Or maybe it was the fact that she voted to acquit President Trump during the impeachment trial without hearing from a single witness.
