Should Bayer-Monsanto be writing our pesticide safety laws?
[[link removed]]

Friend,

Bayer-Monsanto has been ordered to pay more than $500 million in damages to cancer victims and their families for failing to warn the public about glyphosate’s health risks. But now Bayer is spending MILLIONS lobbying Congress to BLOCK state and local pesticide laws and prevent these suits from going through in the future.

For years, scientists have been raising the alarm on glyphosate’s links to cancer, particularly non-Hodgkin lymphoma. If this amendment passes, it would be devastating to groups like farm workers and schoolchildren, who often work and play near crop fields sprayed with pesticides. But Bayer doesn’t care about your health, just their profits.

We need to hear from you: Should Bayer-Monsanto be writing our pesticide safety laws?

We need to protect our communities from the terrible health risks associated with exposure to toxic pesticides, but the odds are stacked against us. With Bayer-Monsanto pouring so much money into lobbying Congress, we need to shore up as much support as we can. Can we count on you to share your thoughts by completing our quick survey by midnight tonight?
