Conservatives across Mississippi are behind Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves
Everyone,
Last night’s results proved that conservatives across Mississippi are behind
Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves and his commitment to keep moving our state
forward. Just a few thousand votes shy of 2016 presidential turnout,
conservative voters turned out in force to send a message to the liberal
Democrats: we will protect our Mississippi values and way of life.

In 2016, Mississippians sent the same message to the national liberals, with
47.3% of Republicans voting for Donald J. Trump as their choice for President
in the Republican primary. After almost three years of his presidency and
conservative leadership, last night showed that Mississippians are still
committed to conservative policies and making America great again.With 48.9% of
conservative voters turning out for Tate, Mississippians are ready to elect
someone who will work with the President to protect our country—and our great
state—from the liberal agenda.

Conservatives from every corner of the state stood with Tate Reeves last
night, winning over 70 counties across Mississippi. Along the Gulf Coast, Tate
dominated with an average of 62% of conservatives supporting his run for
Governor. Holding strong in the Delta as well, Tate won the support of 56% in
Yazoo County, 54% in Leflore County, 52.5% in Bolivar County, and 53% in Warren
County. Even in Jim Hood’s backyard, Tate ran up the score in Northeast
Mississippi, winning an average of 52% overall and 61% of Republicans backing
him in Lowndes County and 59% in Tishomingo County.

We are blessed by the outpouring of support from conservatives across
Mississippi. Tate remains committed to protecting our small-town way of life
and creating a future Mississippi in which everyone can thrive.

You—and all of our supporters—have been working hard since the start of this
campaign, and haven’t let up for a moment. We’ve got three more weeks to go in
this leg of the race, and then we will be able to put 100% of our energy into
defeating the national Democrats pushing Jim Hood.
